What You'll Need

For the pancakes:

  • 1 cup Aunt Jemima® Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg

To assemble:

  • 2 bananas, sliced into 1/2 inch coins
  • 12 strawberries, destemmed and sliced
  • 1 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread

What You'll Do

1 In a bowl, combine all ingredients for pancakes and stir until large lumps disappear (do not beat or over mix). Let stand 1-2 minutes to thicken. Pour batter into lightly greased skillet. One batch should yield about 18 1-inch pancakes.
2 Cook until bubbles appear on top, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown. Set aside to keep warm.
3 For a total of 6 stacks, use 3 pancakes per stack.
4 Create your stacks like a triple decker sandwich with a bottom, middle and top layer of pancake.
5 In between each pancake layer add 1 slice of strawberry, 1 slice of banana and spread a layer of Nutella®.
6 Thread your finished sandwich (pancake, strawberry, banana, Nutella®, pancake, strawberry, banana, Nutella®, pancake) onto a popsicle stick. Serve.
Yields 6 servings.
 
 
Pancake Owl

What You'll Need

For the Pancakes:

  • 1 cup Aunt Jemima® Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg

To Assemble:

  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced into 1/2 inch rounds (and a few triangles for beak)
  • 1 strawberry, destemmed and sliced
  • blueberries
  • 1 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread

What You'll Do

1 In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for pancakes and stir until large lumps disappear (do not beat or over mix). Let stand 1-2 minutes to thicken.
2 Heat pan over medium heat. Pour batter into lightly greased skillet, approximately 1/4 cup (60 mL) for each pancake.
3 Cook until bubbles appear on top, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown. Set aside to keep warm.
4 Spread each pancake with Nutella®.
5 Using the kiwi, banana, strawberry and blueberries, arrange the fruit onto each pancake into the shape of the owl.
Yields about 8-10 4-inch pancakes.

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup Aunt Jemima® Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread

What You'll Do

1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
2 In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for pancakes and stir until large lumps disappear (do not beat or over mix). Let stand 1-2 minutes to thicken.
3 Pour batter into a lightly greased muffin tin, filling each cavity (or muffin cup) halfway.
4 Place your choice of berries into each cup.
5 Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown (Insert a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it is done).
6 Remove and spread with Nutella®.
Yields 18-22 pancake bites.

2 Heat skillet over medium heat. Pour batter, approximately 1/4 cup (60 mL) for each pancake, into pan.
3 Cook until bubbles appear on top, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown. Set aside to keep warm. Repeat with all of the remaining batter.
4 Spread with Nutella®.
Yields 12 2-inch pancakes.
